What We Do
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the less fortunate, including those who are homeless or in need. Established in the year 2023, we have been actively providing assistance to individuals facing hardship. Our headquarters are situated in Nashville, TN; however, our outreach extends beyond this geographical boundary. Our efforts encompass various services, ranging from linking available resources to those experiencing homelessness, to providing support for impoverished individuals.
Our Mission
At Project ECHO, our mission is to be a beacon of support for the homeless and individuals in vulnerable situations. We are dedicated to offering a helping hand by providing essential resources and establishing meaningful connections that empower those in need to regain control of their lives. Our ultimate goal is to extend our reach as far as possible, touching the lives of countless individuals, and fostering a community where compassion and assistance thrive.
Luke 3:10-11: “‘What should we do then?’ the crowd asked. John answered, ‘Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.’”
Acts 20:35: “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Hebrews 6:10: “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”
What We’ve Done And Continue To Do
Clothing Assistance: We have extended our support to the homeless by providing them with essential clothing items, ensuring they stay warm and protected. This includes organizing trips to laundromats, giving them the opportunity to clean and refresh their clothing.
State ID Replacement: Recognizing the importance of identification, we have assisted individuals in need by facilitating the process of replacing their state IDs, enabling them to access vital services.
Warming Layers and Blankets: As part of our commitment to their well-being, we have distributed warming layers and blankets to help the homeless cope with harsh weather conditions.
Meaningful Lunch Breaks: We have dedicated time to engage with the homeless during routine lunch breaks, fostering conversations and providing nourishing meals, creating a sense of companionship.
Hygiene Care: We understand the significance of hygiene and have provided essential hygiene care packages to ensure the health and dignity of those we serve.
Mental Health Resources: We strive to address holistic well-being by connecting individuals to appropriate resources for mental health support, aiming to improve their overall quality of life.
Shelter, Food, and Hygiene Resources: Our commitment extends beyond immediate assistance. We actively help individuals find suitable shelter, food, and hygiene facilities, ensuring they have access to basic necessities and a path toward stability.
General Assistance for the Impoverished: In addition to our efforts to aid the homeless, we also provide support for a broader spectrum of people in need. For example, this includes assisting single parents, offering food, school supplies for children, and addressing various challenges faced by all impoverished individuals, aiming to create a better community.
